Beyond The Woods is an intimate gathering of friends, music lovers and party-goers, tucked away in a beautiful corner of the Lincolnshire countryside
You may know that supporting local artists is a huge part of our mission with Beyond The Woods.
One of the main reasons we got the festival going in the first place was that we wanted to provide a platform for local artists, and so we're absolutely delighted that the team at BBC Introducing In Lincolnshire will be bringing some exciting new names along to this year's festival.
Here, in all its glory, is the local line up for our BBC Music Introducing Stage, as revealed live on BBC Radio Lincolnshire:
"Alex Cavan will be playing with a brand new band. On his own, he sounds fantastic, so to hear that with a band will be really exciting".
Hayley Ritchie, Producer - BBC Introducing In Lincolnshire
"I'm really excited for this. He's had his adventures going off to South Africa, so it'll be really exciting to get a bit of world influence at Beyond The Woods".
Joe Davies - Creative Director, Beyond The Woods
Hayley: "Duccbod has been working with a band in Spain for some of his new music. It should be an exciting time to see him live".
"Duccbod has got brand new material out at the moment. He was in session for BBC Introducing In Lincolnshire about three months ago, but it could have been three weeks ago - that's how vividly I remember it".
"He's going to be good on stage".
Chris Berrow, Presenter - BBC Introducing In Lincolnshire
Chris: "*Audible gasp of excitement*"
Hayley: "Dukes De Luda are one for everyone to get involved in. They've got a really great folky, rocky vibe".
Joe: "I haven't actually been able to see them live before, so I'm really excited for that, but all the stuff you hear from them suggests that they're a great live band."
Joe: "You have those moments at a festival where you're just chilling out, and Jazz is perfect for that. You don't need a huge live band or a big production when you've got a voice like hers".
Hayley: "Her voice is stunning live. It sounds incredible".
Chris: "Kings & Bears are great. They did a session for us not so long ago, and their new singles are sounding great. They've got it all going for them".
Joe: "They're a great band, who are making a lot of noise locally and starting to really branch out. To be honest, I can't believe that we haven't had them before!"
Chris: "Lola + The Cosmic Getaway are a band just waiting to explode. They are already there - they just need a big stage. I'm excited for these guys to play".
Joe: "They played a Beyond The Woods club night earlier in the year. It was an amazing, really atmospheric set, and they're the nicest people".
Hayley: "Last Of The Wonder Kids have got slightly more of a rock/indie edge to them than the other bands we've announced so far, but it's going to sound great in the sun!"
Chris: "They've had recent success getting played on 6 Music. Satellites is a song that's been picked up by Steve Lamacq, and other people as well".
Hayley: "One of my favourite sessions that we've had for ages was Striped Sight. Suzy's voice sounds incredible. These guys need a slot on that bill - it's just something so different and new".
Hayley: "I love SUDS - they're such a good band. They're so quirky. They're like a rock band, but not a rock band".
"They've got a rocky edge, but Maisie's voice is so soft and subtle, it forces you listen really carefully to the lyrics".
Hayley: "This is a band who have only started uploading to the BBC Introducing Uploader in the last year. They've never played a festival for BBC Music Introducing before, but they've recently been in for a session and we're huge fans."
"I really feel like they fit the Beyond The Woods ethos. They're a band that you can dance to".
Chris: "I love Talk Slow so much. I just can't get enough of the music they're putting together. I'm excited to hear what they can do on a big stage".
Hayley: "Just recently Toby has been teasing some exciting new projects, so I think we're on the cusp of something big. I think he'll be performing at the right time".
Joe: "He's got a great team behind him, and I think he's on to something pretty special. It's great that we've got him at the festival - definitely one to look out for".
