There is no limit to the number of children who may come to the festival; however, as we are only a small, volunteer-run event, there is a limit to the number of discounted tickets that we can afford to put on sale.
The money we make from ticket sales has to cover the cost of staging the festival. While we do try our best to make as many reduced-price tickets available for children as possible, we can’t afford to sell too many without putting up the price of everyone else’s ticket, or losing too much money.
We’re reviewing this situation year-on-year, and our hope is to reach a scenario where there is no limit to the number of reduced-price tickets we can put on sale.
We have sold out of children’s tickets in previous years, and would strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets to Beyond The Woods are non-refundable. There will be an opportunity for people who have tickets they can no longer use to sell them on through official resale channels in the near future.
We hope to be in a position to confirm ticket prices for Beyond The Woods 2021 shortly. Our cheapest adult ticket in 2020 was £35.
Although children aged four and under come to the festival for free, you will still need to register an under-5’s ticket on their behalf, as the number of people who can attend the festival is strictly limited by law.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to admit children under 5 without an appropriate ticket.
Yes! We’ll be putting day tickets on sale as we get closer to the date of the festival.
If you’re aged 16 or over, you do not need to be accompanied by an adult to come to Beyond The Woods; however, 16 & 17-year-olds will need permission from their parent or guardian to attend.
We do require that children aged fifteen or younger are accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.
While the main public campsite is mere seconds’ walk from The Arena, our other campsites are a little bit further away.
The walk to The Arboretum is approximately 5 minutes from the arena, and The Meadow is roughly ten minutes’ walk. Although neither walk is particularly challenging, we do recognise that these could present a problem for festival-goers with access requirements, particularly in wet weather.
If you would like to camp in these areas, but have concerns about their accessibility, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll try our very best to help.
You’re very welcome to bring your campervan, caravan or trailer tent; however, as space in our vehicle camping site is strictly limited, you will need to book a space.
We’d kindly ask that you don’t bring your van unless you have booked a pitch in advance, as we will not be able to accommodate you.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate vehicles of any kind in the main public campsite.
With the exception of The Meadow, vehicles are not permitted to enter the camping areas and must be left in the car park.
If you have a mobility issue and need help transporting your belongings, please get in touch so that we can arrange this for you.
Weekend ticket holders may camp at Beyond The Woods free of charge. As the name suggests, camping is unfortunately not included in the price of day tickets.
There is an additional charge for some camping upgrades, including The Meadow, The Glamping Hideaway, and for those wishing to bring a live-in vehicle such as a campervan or caravan.
The Meadow is designed for those who are looking for a more tranquil festival experience.
This campsite is situated very close to a number of residential properties, and we do have a few extra rules to keep everything manageable.
To find out more, head on over to our camping page.
Shower facilities are available for campers booked into The Glamping Hideaway and The Meadow, but are unfortunately not available in the main public campsite.
This is something we’d like to address in the future; however, at the moment the cost of installing enough showers for everyone would be prohibitively expensive.
In an effort to reduce our impact on the environment, and to ensure that there is enough space for everyone to park, there will be a small charge of £10 per car to use the Beyond The Woods car park.
However, if there are four or more people in your vehicle your £10 will be refunded in the form of drinks vouchers for the bar. Your parking, essentially, will be free.
Campers in The Glade and The Glamping Hideaway will have parking included in the cost of their stay. There will be no charge for dropping off or picking up.
With the exception of assistance animals, such as guide dogs, pets are unfortunately not allowed at the festival.
You are very welcome to bring a reasonable amount of food or drink for your own personal consumption across the weekend.
Please note that the only drinks that can be taken into The Arena are soft drinks in sealed plastic bottles or cans. Alcoholic beverages must be left in the campsite.
We appreciate that this isn’t the most convenient arrangement for everyone, but we’re hugely reliant on bar sales to help cover the cost of putting on the festival and we’d really appreciate your support in helping to keep the festival going. Plus, at £3.50 a pint, we think our prices are pretty reasonable 🙂
We expect to open applications to trade in the new year. Keep an eye on our festival newsletter for more information.
Erm… No 😬
We’d like for anybody to be able to attend Beyond The Woods, and so if you have any particular requirements please let us know as soon as possible so we can discuss how we can help.
We’re pleased to be able to offer a free carer’s ticket to attendees with a disability. Again – please contact us for further information.
Glass bottles/containers are strictly prohibited on the Beyond The Woods site.
Throughout the rest of the year, Stourton Woods is home to a herd of deer. Any breakages could potentially be fatal, so we’d very kindly ask you to decant your drinks into an alternative container before setting off for the festival.
We expect to be able to announce the line up for Beyond The Woods 2021 in the spring.
We do not currently have an exact date for opening up artist applications. Traditionally it has been in the spring time, but it could well be earlier this year.
Please keep an eye on the website, or our social media pages, for updates.
