We're not quite sure why, but for some reason Beyond The Woods has a rich history of booking at least one really good band from Leeds every year.
Since our festival first opened to the public in 2017, there's always been one standout Yorkshire-based performer.
This year, we're delighted that Talkboy will be taking to the main stage!
The band have just released their brand new single Wasting Time, and if you've had a chance to listen (see below) you'll know why we're so excited to have them join us at Beyond The Woods this year.
Despite Wasting Time being only the band's fourth release, they've already started to turn quite a few heads with their very own brand of anthemic indie pop.
They've also developed a reputation as really great live performers, and when we went down to see them play their first ever London show earlier this year, we pretty much booked them on the spot.
Of course, all the bands we book to play at Beyond The Woods are fantastic performers, but you'll probably want to be on your feet and down the front when they start playing Over And Under.
The band have previously told Dork that there's a debut EP in the pipeline, so hopefully we should have plenty more new music to get excited about between now and August.
And if you're a regular BTW-goer, you'll probably recognise keys player Charlotte Jones from Laminate Pet Animal, who played the main stage in both 2017 and 2018, to rave reviews.
Don't forget - we've currently got a limited number of weekend tickets on sale for just £35 - that's £15 cheaper than a full price ticket.
Don't hang about though. Just one week after we announced the line up we'd already sold more than 100 £35 tickets - and when they're gone, they're gone!
A limited number of weekend tickets to Beyond The Woods 2019 are available now for just £35!
We're returning to Lincoln's Liquor for our third BTW Presents night. See you down the front!
