Residents' Ticket Scheme Update
Every year we operate a residents' ticket scheme, providing free entry to the festival for people living closest to Stourton Woods.
As you may remember, we were very disappointed to have to cancel Beyond The Woods 2019 on safety grounds, with the particularly severe weather presenting an unacceptable risk to the public and our volunteers.
With that in mind, I hoped I'd take this opportunity to bring you up to speed on how our residents' ticket scheme will operate for 2020 - especially if you successfully applied for a residents' place last year.
The first bit of good news is that if you had residents' tickets last year, they will now be valid for 2020's festival. We will send you more information nearer to the time of the event, which will take place on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th August.
If you had residents' tickets in 2019 but are unable to attend in 2020, I'd be very grateful if you could let me know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, as our capacity at the festival is limited, and we would like to offer any unavailable places up to people who can attend.
As a reminder, free residents' tickets are non-transferrable, and the lead booker must present valid photo ID, including proof of address, before your group can enter the festival.
Applying For Residents' Tickets
If you didn't receive residents' tickets in 2019, there will be an opportunity for you to apply for free tickets before the end of the year.
Each household can apply for a maximum of four residents' tickets, and if we have more applications than there are tickets to give away, we will allocate the tickets by means of a random ballot.
In order to qualify for free residents' tickets, you must live within one of the following villages or a shorter distance from Stourton Woods' Clays' Lane entrance than any of the villages below, as the crow flies.
- Great Stourton
We're really looking forward to seeing you at Beyond The Woods 2020, and in the meantime please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
