Residents Ticket Scheme Terms And Conditions

Each year, we make a limited number of free tickets available to people living in close proximity to the Beyond The Woods Festival site, Stourton Woods.

These purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to establish the rules around applying for tickets: Who may apply, how to apply, how the tickets will be allocated and how ticket-holders will be admitted on the day(s) of the festival.

General Terms

  1. The Beyond The Woods Festival Residents' Ticketing Scheme ('The Scheme') provides free tickets to Beyond The Woods Festival ('The Festival'). Tickets are not valid for, and may not be exchanged for, tickets to any other event
  2. The Festival will be held at Stourton Woods, Baumber, Horncastle, LN9 5NL
  3. The Festival will take place on Saturday 7th & Friday 8th August 2020
  4. The Festival is organised and run by Beyond The Woods Ltd ('The Promoter'), registered address: 15 Newland Lincoln, LN1 1XG
  5. Any decisions taken by The Promoter in relation to The Scheme will be final and indisputable. No discussion about the results of the scheme will be entered into
  6. A maximum of four tickets may be applied for per residential address
  7. Tickets allocated through The Scheme are for use by the successful applicant only, and may not be sold or otherwise transferred, except where they are being returned to The Promoter
  8. By entering The Scheme you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions

Who May Apply

  1. The Scheme is open to people whose primary residential address is located within one of the following Qualifying Villages:
    • Baumber
    • Edlington
    • Gautby
    • Great Stourton
    • Hatton
    • Hemingby
    • Minting
    • Ranby
    • Sotby
    • Waddingworth
    • Wispington
  2. The Scheme is also open to people who do not live within a Qualifying Village, but whose primary residential address is closer to Stourton Woods' Clays Lane entrance than any Qualifying Village. Proximity will be established through use of Google Maps: A straight line will be drawn between the resident's property and Clays Lane, and then a second line drawn between Clays Lane and the name label and the furthest-away village. If the line to the resident's address is the shorter, then the resident is considered to have qualified
  3. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they qualify for The Scheme through residency, by means of photographic identification. The photographic identification must demonstrate the name, address and photograph of the resident. The Promoter will only accept the following forms of identification:
    • A valid UK driving licence
    • A passport
    • Any other form of identification showing the resident's address and the PASS hologram

How To Apply

  1. Applications should be submitted to The Promoter using the form provided at https://beyondthewoods.co.uk/
  2. Applications must be received no later than 23:59 on Friday 28th February 2020. Applications received after this time will not be considered
  3. Applicants will be required to provide their name, address, email address and the number of tickets they are applying for. Failure to submit all the information requested may result in the application being declined

Allocation Of Tickets

  1. In the event that there are applications for fewer tickets than are available under The Scheme, tickets will be awarded to everyone who has applied
  2. Where there are more tickets applied for than are made available under The Scheme, tickets will be allocated by means of a random draw. Each application will be assigned a unique identifying number, and a computer program will select identifiers at random until the allocation of tickets has been fully distributed. Where an applicant has applied for more tickets than are still available, their application will be declined. For example, if an applicant has applied for four tickets, but there are only three remaining to be allocated, their application will not be considered
  3. Applicants will be advised of the outcome of the draw via the email address they provided no later than Sunday 15th March

Admittance To The Festival

  1. People awarded free residents' tickets under The Scheme will be admitted to The Festival via the Red Gate
  2. Ticket holders should arrive in one group, with the lead applicant prepared to show the photographic identification requested
  3. Access will only be permitted between 1pm - 9pm on Friday 7th August and 10am - 6pm on Saturday 8th August. Persons holding free residents' tickets will not be admitted at any other time
