Useful information and free tickets for people who live near Stourton Woods
Beyond The Woods Is Based Around Its Community
You may already know that our festival was set up, and is still run, by a close-knit group of friends.
Although the event has got bigger over the years, and so has the number of people working on it, our ethos remains the same: We’re putting on an event for the community to enjoy, and to promote and celebrate the arts in Lincolnshire.
You guys, the people living closest to Stourton Woods, have played a vitally important part of us achieving our goal.
Many of our most enthusiastic volunteers and supporters live in the surrounding villages. A lot of the money we raise, for example through ticket sales, is also spent with businesses in the local area; who provide us with services, equipment and accommodation.
This page is here to help keep you up to date with the latest news and announcements of particular interest to people living nearby.
Who Is This Page For?
Really, we’re happy for anyone with an interest in the festival to make use of this page.
However, for the purposes of things like The Residents’ Ticket Scheme we do have an official definition of ‘a local resident’ :
- Anyone whose primary residential address is within one of the following villages: Baumber, Gautby, Great Stourton, Hatton, Hemingby, Minting, Ranby, Sotby, Waddingworth, Wispington
- If your primary residential address is closer to Stourton Woods’ Clays Lane entrance (as the crow flies) than any of the above villages, you are also considered a local resident.
Residents’ Ticket Scheme
Every year we run a scheme to provide free tickets to people living closest to the festival site.
