How To Get Here

By Car

Beyond The Woods is held at Stourton Estates, Baumber, LN9 5NL.

If you're joining us for the first time, the important thing to remember is not to follow your sat nav.

There are lots of entrances to the estate, but the one you're after (which your sat nav won't like) is very clearly signposted off the A158 between Wragby and Baumber.

By Train

The nearest train station is Lincoln Central. Once you arrive in Lincoln, we'd suggest getting a taxi out to the site. A car usually costs about £25, and even less if you can split the fare.

By Bus

This is a tricky one.

There are bus services that run past the Stourton Estate; however, they're not connected to the estate by any sort of pavement. We really can't recommend walking the rest of the way - it's very dangerous.

Your best bet if you're joining us by bus is to go as far as Baumber and then get a taxi to take you the short distance to the festival site.

If you do decide to do this, we'd advise booking the cab in advance, as there aren't any cab firms based in Baumber itself.

Also, if you're joining us for the day, it's worth noting that the buses finish pretty early on Saturdays. You might be better off staying over.

Campers in The Paddock can park next to their tents, and have access to showering facilities.

Please note that there is a strict curfew of 11pm. The quiet/family campsite is not suitable for noisy or large groups.

Access to The Paddock costs £30 for a group of 4 adults, or 2 adults and 4 children.

We'll be announcing more details of our full Beyond The Woods glamping experience shortly.

Can I bring a campervan/caravan?

Absolutely yes! Please be aware that campervans/caravans must be parked in the quiet/family camping field which is a low-noise campsite, and for which a separate ticket is required.

Unfortunately, we are unable to supply electrical power to campervans/caravans.

Who can I speak to about ticket purchases?

Ticketing for Beyond The Woods is managed by our friends at Gigantic.

You can get hold of them on customerservices@gigantic.com, or by calling 01158 077 900.

What To Bring (And What Not To Bring)

Let's start with the usual things: Please bring plenty of clothing appropriate for the weather. If it's an especially hot day, do remember your sun screen.

Everything's pretty close together once you arrive on site, but it might be worth bringing some fairly robust footwear just in case. The ground at Stourton Estates isn't especially uneven, but it's not perfectly flat either - just like any beautiful field in the countryside.

Portable camping chairs (or something similar) are always a good idea. We will be putting some seating out in the arena and food court areas, but they'll very much be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that you will be subject to a search by drugs detection dogs before ariving on site. Sharp objects such as knives are also prohibited.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes - but only for consumption in the campsites, and as long as you're over 18.

Unfortunately you can't bring booze into the festival arena, but our bars are very reasonably priced. Last year pints were £3.50, and they'll be very similarly priced (if not the same price) this year.

You can bring your own food, and take it wherever you'd like.

Will there be cashpoints, and do you accept cards?

The festival bar will accept card payments. Whether food vendors accept card will very much be up the the individual vendor, so it's probably worth bringing some cash just to be on the safe side.

There will not be cash points on site.

Can I bring my BBQ/portable camping stove?

Yes, unless the weather is especially hot.

If the ground is very dry, and there's a serious fire risk, then BBQs may not be permitted.

You must have a means of keeping your cooking device well off the ground.

Also, and we really can't stress this enough - please don't use cooking appliances inside your tent. It's really dangerous.

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking is permitted within outdoor areas of the festival site, but it's really important that you dispose of your cigarette ends using the bins provided.

For the rest of the year our site is home to a herd of deer, and if find a cigarette end on the ground (or any kind of litter) they will eat it - so please make sure it goes in the bin.

A Word On Glass

When it's not being used for Beyond The Woods, the field at Stourton Estates is home to a herd of deer.

In order to protect the deer from eating anything they shouldn't, we have a no glass policy on site.

You can bring your spectacles with you, but other than that please leave any glass objects at home.

What's the festival's pet policy?

With the exception of assistance animals, pets are unfortunately not permitted on the festival site.

Timings And Performances

The campsites will open at 11am on Friday 9th August, and we kindly ask that campers have left the site by midday on Sunday 11th August.

If you're joining us for the day on Saturday gates will open at 11am, and your ticket will be valid until 2am on Sunday morning.

On-stage performances will begin at 4pm on Friday and midday on Saturday.

We're looking forward to announcing times for non-stage-based entertainments closer to the time of the festival.
